The ‘Lochardil 50’ group met last night to plan Lochardil’s 50th Birthday in August of this year. Anyone who would like to help with the organisation of this event is invited to meet at the Lochardil Hotel on Thursday 3rd April at 7.30pm.
In the meantime, we are looking for old photographs/ newspaper articles of Lochardil in days gone by. If you, a friend, or a family member has any memorabilia that you’d be happy with us taking a copy of for our 50th Birthday Display, please get in touch with Alison Fraser at Lochardil Primary School on 01463 230250. Our 50th Birthday Celebrations will be held week commencing Monday 25th August 2014. They will end on the Saturday with a Fun Day.
Hi, I sent a photograph of my class to Alison, but I can send it to you too. My mum has a scrapbook with a few newspaper cuttings of the prize winners in 1965. But I can’t get them til I am back in Inverness, and that will be the beginning of June.
Will come to Lochardil then.
