Open Evening . . .

The hall was buzzing with current/former pupils, parents and staff this evening for our Open Evening. It was lovely to see everyone taking a trip down memory lane. It’s great to have such a fantastic community, continuing to grow 50 years on!

Our corridors are full to the brim of ’50’ inspired art work – a real joy to get ‘lost’ in as many relive their past, and think of the next 50 at Lochardil.

  1. Had a fab trip down memory lane this week, not just because my two children, now both at secondary school were former pupils, but also because I myself was a former pupil, starting Primary One in 1966! I was lost in time looking at the old photographs and memorabilia and had a chuckle at some of the ‘My News’ jotters of that time. It was nice to see pictures and reference to my old headmasters, Mr Macleod and Mr Duncan and long-serving ‘jannie’ Mr Mackenzie. Here’s to the next fifty years! Jennifer Cameron (nee Christie)
